Area of applicability
This Data Privacy Statement provides our users with information about how, to what extent and for what purpose we collect your data.

The legal basis for data privacy is the Federal Data Privacy Act (BDSG) and the Act on Telemedia (TMG).

Recording of general information
When you visit our website, we or the web space provider automatically record information. This information - also known as server log files - is of a general nature and cannot be used to identify you.

Amongst others, the following are recorded: name of the website, file, date, data quantity, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would be partially technically impossible to supply the content of the website. Therefore, the recording of the data is absolutely essential. Additionally, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimise our offer and technology. We additionally reserve the right to check the log files in the event of a suspicion that our offer is being used illegally.

Dealing with personal data
Definition: Personal data refers to all information on the basis of which a person can be clearly identified. It thus concerns data which can be retraced to a person.

Personal data includes first name, name, telephone number as well as email address.

This data is only collected, used and possibly transferred to third parties by the provider of this website if this is expressly permitted by the statutory authorities or the user consents to the collection, use and transfer of the data.

Involvement of services and content of third parties
Our website may also contain content, services and performance of other suppliers. These are for example maps provided by Google Maps, videos by YouTube as well as images and graphics from other websites. So that this data can be displayed in the user’s browser, it is absolutely essential to transfer the IP address. The providers (hereinafter referred to as Third Party Providers) thus see the IP address of the respective user.

Even if we make every effort to solely use Third Party Providers who only use the IP address to supply content, we do not have any influence on whether the IP address is saved or not. This procedure serves, for example, statistical purposes. If we learn that the IP address has been saved we notify our users of this.

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files which are saved by the server on your computer. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the internet connection. We will not pass on this data to third parties, nor will it be linked to personal data without your consent.

Cookies fulfil two tasks. They make it easier for you to navigate our website and enable the website to be depicted correctly. They are not used to infiltrate viruses or to start programs.

The use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files which are saved on your computer and enable your use of this website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is generally transferred to and stored by one of Google’s servers in the USA. Due to the activation of the IP anonymisation feature on this website, within the European Union or in other countries covered by the treaty on the European Economic Area, your IP address is shortened by Google prior to being transferred. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of this website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address of your browser transferred by Google Analytics shall not be combined with other data by Google. Data minimisation
We generally save personal data according to the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation only as long as is necessary or as stipulated by the statutory provisions (statutory retention period). If the purpose of the data collection ceases to exist or the retention period ends, we block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and appeal
You have the right, free of charge, to request to see the personal data saved by us and/or a correction, blockage or deletion of said data. Exceptions: the mandatory data storage for the purpose of conducting business or the data is subject to the statutory obligation to store data.

In order to be able to take a data blockage into account at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a lock file for control purposes. Unless there is a legal obligation to archive the data, you can request its deletion. Otherwise we will block the data if that is what you wish.

Update of our Data Privacy Statement
In order to guarantee that our Data Privacy Statement always conforms to the current statutory regulations, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This shall also apply in the event that the Data Privacy Statement has to be amended due to new or revised performance, for example new services. The new Data Privacy Statement shall then be applicable when you visit our website the next time.
